About the role#
Labcorp is looking for a Finance Excellence Intern to join our team in Durham, NC. This position is part of our 2027 Global Internship Program. You will work 40 hours per week in a hybrid environment from June 1, 2027, to August 13, 2027. This is a paid, full-time internship, and we do not provide visa sponsorship.
What you'll do#
- Support the Finance Excellence team in collecting, validating, and analyzing financial data to ensure accuracy and accessibility.
- Assist with data governance and documentation, including mapping data sources and defining key financial metrics.
- Perform data quality checks across various finance systems.
- Prepare dashboards, ad-hoc analyses, and presentations to support analytics and insights initiatives.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Business Analytics, or Data Analytics.
- Foundational skills in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to communicate clearly and follow structured processes.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
- A strong interest in financial data, analytics, and technology.
- Familiarity with financial analysis, statistics, or data management through coursework or hands-on experience.
- An eagerness to learn and develop new skills.

- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week.
- Duration: 11 weeks, starting June 1, 2027, and ending August 13, 2027.
