About the role#
Labcorp is seeking a Commercial Sales Intern to join the Northeast Division Commercial Sales Team for the Summer 2027 term. This is a full-time, paid internship running from June 1, 2027, to August 13, 2027. You will gain hands-on experience in commercial sales operations, performance analytics, and customer engagement while collaborating with cross-functional partners in a healthcare diagnostics environment.
What you'll do#
- Analyze sales performance data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement across the Northeast Division.
- Support the development and execution of strategic sales initiatives by working with Marketing, Finance, and Analytics teams.
- Contribute to divisional operations by streamlining processes, improving reporting accuracy, and enhancing Customer Relationship Management (CRM) utilization.
- Create dashboards and visualizations to assist Commercial leadership with data-driven decision-making.
- Assist in sales strategy planning, including exposure to territory alignment and incentive modeling.
- Participate in sales visits with the Commercial Sales team to observe customer engagement activities firsthand.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree program in Business, Marketing, Sales, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- Strong organizational, time management, and attention to detail skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to share findings clearly across teams.
- Ability to analyze information to support business decisions.
- Capability to work effectively in a remote environment while traveling for in-person sales visits as needed.
Location & details#
- This is a remote position with preferred locations in Albany, New York; Boston, Massachusetts; New York City, New York; or Hartford, Connecticut.
- This role is a full-time commitment of 40 hours per week.
