About the role#
L3Harris is hiring an intern for the finance team in Rochester. This role focuses on supporting financial functions for business proposals and program execution. You will work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure financial processes run correctly.
What you'll do#
- Manage financial tasks for business acquisitions and program execution.
- Create, validate, and generate complex customer invoices.
- Ensure all invoices meet contract terms and are processed on time.
- Provide billing guidance to the Contracts and Program Finance teams.
- Reconcile invoices and accounts receivable to maintain billing accuracy.
- Assist with internal and external audits.
- Help with the cash application process through research and reconciliation.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Management, Business Administration, Mathematics, or a related field.
Location & details#
- This position is based in Rochester, New York.
- This is a full-time, paid, on-site internship.
- The schedule follows a 9/80 format, where you work 80 hours over 9 days, giving you every other Friday off.
