About the role#
L3Harris Technologies is hiring an intern for the finance team in Fort Wayne. You will manage financial tasks related to business acquisitions and program execution. This role involves working with both internal and external stakeholders to support billing and accounting accuracy.
What you'll do#
- Manage financial functions for business acquisition processes and program execution.
- Set up, validate, and generate complex invoices for customers.
- Process invoices according to specific contract terms.
- Provide billing guidance and serve as a daily point of contact for Contracts and Program Finance teams.
- Reconcile invoices and accounts receivable.
- Assist with internal and external audits.
- Research and reconcile data to support the cash application process.
- Participate in projects to improve existing financial processes.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program for Finance, Accounting, Economics, Management, Business Administration, Mathematics, or a related field.
Location & details#
- Location: Fort Wayne, Indiana.
- Schedule: 9/80 schedule, which includes working 80 hours over 9 days with every other Friday off.
- Work modality: On-site.
- Employment type: Full-time, paid internship.
