About the role#
Kwik Trip is hiring a Software Developer Intern to join our Information Technology Department. You will work directly with our Application Development Team to gain hands-on experience. This is a paid, full-time internship based in La Crosse, Wisconsin. We offer flexibility to accommodate your school schedule, requiring at least 20 hours per week during semesters and 40 hours during breaks.
What you'll do#
- Harvest legacy Dotnet applications.
- Perform application testing.
- Create incident reports using ServiceNow.
- Apply agile principles to your daily project work.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate program for Computer Science or Software Development.
- Proficiency in one or more languages: SQL, HTML, JAVASCRIPT, CSS, C+, or .NET.
- Working knowledge of SQL and general web concepts.
- Ability to use Microsoft Office products.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and multi-tasking skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication.
- High attention to detail and self-motivation.
- Ability to maintain confidential information and resolve high-priority issues.
