About the role#
The Artificial Intelligence Intern joins the Information Technology department to support AI initiatives across the enterprise. You will work alongside IT professionals to develop and maintain new AI workflows. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Denver, Colorado.
What you'll do#
- Identify and maintain data and pipelines to support AI workflows, including data entry and organization.
- Assist in the development, implementation, and training of machine learning models and algorithms.
- Conduct research and experiments to improve existing AI solutions.
- Collaborate with team members to analyze the accuracy and reliability of solutions.
- Contribute to algorithm optimization and performance evaluation.
- Support the integration of models into production systems.
- Document processes and findings for future reference.
- Participate in solution evaluations, team meetings, and brainstorming sessions.
- Stay current with trends and advancements in AI and machine learning.
What you'll need#
- High school diploma or GED and current enrollment in a 4-year undergraduate or graduate degree program.
- Preferred majors include Computer Science, Data Science, Business Administration, or Statistics.
- Proficiency with Windows operating systems and Microsoft technologies, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and CoPilot.
- Knowledge of AI concepts such as Machine Learning, Large Language Models, Generative AI, IoT, and Natural Language Processing.
- Familiarity with AI Agents and AI prompting techniques.
- Understanding of computer networks, data communications, and network components.
- Strong analytical, investigational, and organizational skills.

- Compensation: $18.81 per hour.
