About the role#
This 4-month co-op position in our Toronto office focuses on the Risk Services Cyber Security practice. You will work alongside a team of consultants to help clients address complex business issues from strategy to execution. This role involves direct interaction with clients and provides exposure to cyber risk management in a business context.
What you'll do#
- Support the project manager with daily activities to ensure smooth project execution.
- Manage the project planning tool in Excel to track timelines and deliverables.
- Send daily status reports to stakeholders regarding project progress and potential issues.
- Assist with technical cyber-related tasks alongside our operational teams.
- Develop executive-level weekly reports and metrics to provide project insights.
- Manage the RAID log and track team schedules.
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with clients.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in Cyber Security, Information Security, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Excel for data analysis, reporting, and tracking.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with team members and clients.
- Understanding of cyber risk management principles, including assessment, analysis, and reporting.
- Ability to coordinate multiple tasks and projects effectively.
- Strong organizational skills for managing project documentation.
