About the role#
Our Toronto office is seeking early talent to join the Asset Management Tax practice as a Product Specialist for the Summer 2027 term. You will work within the Asset Management Digital Solutions (AMDS) team, a group of developers and project managers focused on digital transformation and tax innovation. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to software solutions that support our clients and internal teams.
What you'll do#
- Design and develop products for the asset management industry.
- Write high-performance, maintainable code.
- Participate in all phases of the software development life cycle, including testing and deployment.
- Collaborate with Product Specialists and Software Engineers to draft functional specifications.
- Implement team best practices and participate in code reviews.
- Research and evaluate new tools and technologies to drive innovation.
- Write and execute unit tests for your code.
What you'll need#
- Currently completing a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Cybersecurity, or an associated STEM field.
- Experience building applications using frameworks such as Vue.JS, ReactJS, Node.js, C#.Net Core, Python, or WPF.
- Proficiency in designing and using REST APIs.
- Strong knowledge of GIT.
- Familiarity with modern programming languages and tools including C#, SQL, Java, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks.
- Understanding of object-oriented principles and relational or non-relational databases.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality solutions.
