About the role#
KPMG Canada is seeking undergraduate students for the Deal Advisory, Transaction Services practice in Toronto. This is a full-time, paid internship or co-op opportunity available for Winter, Summer, or Fall 2027. You will work in multi-disciplinary teams to support clients through various stages of the transaction lifecycle.
What you'll do#
- Evaluate a business’ historical performance, including earnings, cash flows, and working capital cycles.
- Identify and report key issues through financial analysis and interpretation of results.
- Write detailed professional reports and client deliverables.
- Establish and develop relationships with current and prospective clients.
- Contribute to proposal support and team morale.
- Participate in engagement teams alongside senior client executives, attorneys, and investors.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Finance, Business, or equivalent undergraduate program.
- Progress toward a professional CPA or CA designation.
- Strong analytical skills and above-average proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- A willingness to travel as required.

- Location: Toronto, Ontario (Bay-Adelaide office).
- Modality: This position requires working on-site, 5 days a week.
- Salary: The base salary range is $41,000 to $65,000, with potential eligibility for bonus awards.
