About the role#
As a Mechanical Engineer Intern at Koch, you will gain hands-on experience through a rotation program. You will spend time across several functional areas, including engineering, sales and estimating, field services, research and development, and manufacturing. This program provides a comprehensive look at our business while you build your technical and professional skills alongside experienced mentors.
What you'll do#
- Assist with the design, analysis, and testing of mechanical systems and components.
- Participate in cost estimations and customer proposals for new projects.
- Support project implementation, on-site installations, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
- Contribute to product development initiatives and innovation projects.
- Assist in process improvements, workflow optimization, and quality control initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and prepare reports or documentation.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- A strong interest in rotating through diverse functional areas.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic engineering software tools.
