About the role#
This is a 16-month co-op position based in Estevan, Saskatchewan. You will support engineers in the Integrity Projects department. Your work focuses on the planning and execution of projects related to the inspection, evaluation, and repair of liquid pipelines and facilities.
What you'll do#
- Prepare project scopes, designs, estimates, and documentation for approval and funding.
- Research and summarize codes, standards, and regulations.
- Develop procedures for the safe execution of work.
- Create specifications and work with supply chain management to procure materials and services.
- Maintain project schedules, monitor costs, and update project forecasts.
- Place projects in service and complete status reports.
- Review quality control packages after construction to ensure requirements are met.
- Plan and implement work according to HSE policies, engineering standards, and regulations.
- Coordinate the efforts of internal teams, consultants, and contractors to meet project objectives.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an Engineering program at a post-secondary institution.
- Strong analytical, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with computer tasks.
- Ability to communicate with both office and field staff.
- A valid Class 5 driver license and an acceptable driver abstract is an asset.
- A copy of your university transcript must be included with your application.
