About the role#
This is a 16-month Co-op Student position supporting engineers who manage the integrity of liquids pipelines. You will work within the Pipeline Integrity department to address threats to system infrastructure. Your daily tasks include managing inspections, analyzing data, and preparing recommendations for mitigative actions.
What you'll do#
- Collect, manage, and analyze pipeline construction and condition data from inspections.
- Prepare documentation to secure project approvals and funding.
- Conduct quality assurance activities and work with service providers to resolve issues.
- Develop and compile documents required for the safe execution of work.
- Support pipeline integrity matters and respond to stakeholder requests.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop project justifications, economics, and alternatives analysis.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an Engineering program at a qualified education institution.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- A valid Class 5 driver’s license and an acceptable driver’s abstract is an asset.
