About the role#
As a Data Research Analyst Intern, you will join the Operational Data Outsourcing team. You will support capital markets and banking firms by maintaining and cleaning their data. This role offers opportunities to earn promotions, lead small teams, and assist management with data quality projects.
What you'll do#
- Research and enter data for corporations and investment vehicles.
- Identify relationships between data points and ensure all information is validated.
- Perform regular clean-up efforts to improve the quality of new and existing data.
- Meet production and quality standards defined by company procedures.
- Assist the management team with training, automation, and project efficiency.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in college level courses with a minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Residency in Iowa.
- A personal computer and reliable internet access.
- A strong work ethic and a willingness to learn.
- Ability to commit to 18 hours per week for two consecutive semesters.
- Interest in the financial industry, with preference given to those studying Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or Data Science.
Location & details#
- This role is based in Ames, Iowa, and follows a hybrid work model.
- Remote work is available for Iowa residents.
- This is a paid internship.
