About the role#
As a Data Scientist Intern within the AI, Automation, and Data Platforms team, you will combine technical skills with strategic thinking to solve business problems. You will work on enterprise projects that improve decision-making and drive growth by implementing data-driven solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI into business processes and translate stakeholder requirements into technical strategies.
What you'll do#
- Design and implement machine learning solutions and statistical models from problem formulation to deployment.
- Collect, clean, and preprocess structured and unstructured datasets.
- Apply GenAI, traditional AI, machine learning, NLP, computer vision, or predictive analytics.
- Translate business requirements into technical strategies and manage project stages using agile methods.
- Design measurement frameworks to benchmark AI solutions and quantify business impact.
- Communicate findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders through presentations, visualizations, and dashboards.
- Work alongside data engineers and software developers to integrate AI solutions into existing systems.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Economics, or a related field.
- Experience with AI/ML technologies and statistical modeling through coursework, projects, or work experience.
- Proficiency in Python and SQL.
- Knowledge of machine learning algorithms such as linear regression, decision trees, random forests, gradient boosting, and neural networks.
- Experience with deep learning frameworks and common Python libraries like NumPy, Pandas, and scikit-learn.
- Familiarity with cloud-based platforms, data processing frameworks, and large language models.
- Understanding of object-oriented programming and AI Ethics principles.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and business acumen.
