About the role#
Kimley-Horn is hiring Landscape Architecture students for our Richmond, Virginia office. This is a full-time, on-site internship position. You will work on a variety of projects including land planning, urban design, residential development, streetscapes, and public infrastructure.
What you'll do#
- Use technical software to analyze, create, and check project deliverables.
- Assist with site planning, landscape design, and technical production.
- Work with project managers and other disciplines to solve problems and meet client goals.
- Learn federal, state, and local regulations along with company procedures.
- Gain experience with software such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketchup, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, GIS, and Excel.
What you'll need#
- You must be currently enrolled in a Bachelors or Masters degree program for Landscape Architecture.

- Location: Richmond, Virginia.
- Work modality: On-site.
- Compensation: $25 to $26 per hour.
