About the role#
We are looking for students to join our Richmond, Virginia office as an Environmental Science Intern. This is a full-time, on-site position.
What you'll do#
You will work with project managers to solve complex problems and collaborate across different disciplines. Your work involves learning federal, state, and local regulations, along with our specific internal practices and standards. You will gain hands-on knowledge in areas such as natural resource regulations, water quality programs, wetlands identification, ecology, wildlife biology, water resources, and geographic information systems. Please note that this role requires 10-30% travel and fieldwork.
What you'll need#
Applicants must be in the process of earning a Bachelors or Masters degree in Biology, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
Location & details#
This internship is located in Richmond, Virginia. The position is paid at an hourly rate of $25 to $26. We do not offer sponsorship for this role.
