About the role#
Kennedy Jenks is seeking an intern for the Summer 2027 Kickstart Internship Program in Denver. This role supports project teams focused on water resources, water quality, wastewater treatment, and recycled water. You will work on projects across the United States while building your professional skills through hands-on experience.
What you'll do#
- Support project teams with water resource and treatment solutions.
- Prepare technical reports, calculations, and design plans.
- Document pre-construction conditions.
- Manage ongoing project tasks and communicate with team members and clients.
- Attend and contribute to client meetings.
- Visit project sites to gain field experience.
- Participate in mentorship, advising, and networking opportunities.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in Civil, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering, Drafting/3D Design, or a related field.
- Completion of at least sophomore standing in an accredited engineering program.
Location & details#
- Location: Denver, Colorado.
- Modality: Hybrid.
- Duration: Summer 2027.
- Compensation: $21 to $26 per hour.
- Status: Full-time, paid internship.
