About the role#
We are looking for a Support Operations Intern to manage customer experiences during a period of growth. You will own Tier 1 and Tier 2 support tickets from start to finish. This role requires speed and quality to ensure our users receive help while the core team builds infrastructure. You will spend most of your time in the queue, with the remaining time dedicated to analyzing patterns and sharing insights with our operations, product, and engineering teams.
What you'll do#
- Manage Tier 1 and Tier 2 support tickets via Intercom.
- Maintain first reply times under 10 minutes.
- Keep customer satisfaction and experience scores high by providing clear, helpful, and accurate responses.
- Identify trends in inbound support volume and relay that signal to internal teams.
- Shadow senior team members on complex tickets and handle escalations.
- Update and improve internal support resources and documentation.
What you'll need#
- Genuine knowledge of prediction markets and fluency in trading concepts.
- Grit and the ability to work independently without hand-holding.
- An obsession with small details combined with big-picture thinking.
- Strong written communication skills to explain complex concepts clearly.
- A low-ego, high-output, and collaborative approach to work.
- Current enrollment in college.
- Prior experience in support, operations, or startup environments is helpful.
- Familiarity with tools like Intercom, Stripe, or Plaid is a plus.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid internship for Fall 2026.
- The role is based on-site in New York City, New York.
- Compensation is $20 to $25 per hour.
