About the role#
The Marketing Intern supports our external communications and marketing efforts. You will work closely with the Revenue team to gather content, create graphic designs, and edit materials for social media and print. This role helps maintain our brand identity while you gain hands-on experience in a non-profit environment.
What you'll do#
- Create social media videos and write copy to engage our online audience.
- Gather, design, and edit content for advertising, social media, and event campaigns.
- Analyze platform data and research trends to find new marketing opportunities.
- Coordinate projects across the Revenue team and other departments.
- Complete graphic design tasks while following layout best practices.
- Work alongside team members and interact with dogs on a regular basis.
- Manage the digital asset library and handle general office duties.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in or recent graduation from a degree program in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related field.
- Familiarity with Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud, social media platforms, and Microsoft programs.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Creativity, adaptability, and an eye for detail.
- Ability to think of new ideas and communicate them clearly.
- Capacity to collaborate with various teams and learn new tasks.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines.
- A flexible schedule.

- Work Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Part-time, Monday through Friday.
- Compensation: 15 USD per hour.

About K9s For Warriors
K9s For Warriors is a nonprofit organization founded in 2011. It provides trained service dogs to military veterans who experience PTSD, traumatic brain injury, or military sexual trauma.
