About the role#
The Course Adoption Marketing team promotes APA coursebooks and digital learning resources to educators and students. As an intern, you will support marketing strategies aimed at increasing the adoption of these resources in higher education settings. You will gain experience with marketing software and project management tools while learning how APA Publishing products address specific market needs. This is a paid, part-time position averaging 20 hours per week for a duration of 3 to 4 months.
What you'll do#
- Research, write, design, and schedule social media content for platforms like YouTube, Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
- Support the planning and logistics for digital and in-person events and conferences.
- Edit and produce long and short form video content.
- Assist with ad campaign trafficking and website updates.
- Provide administrative support including managing calendars, processing invoices, and performing reporting.
What you'll need#
- A high school degree.
- Some college credits and current enrollment in college-level courses.
- Interest in Marketing, Communications, or Psychology.
Location & details#
This role is based in Washington, District of Columbia. Remote work is available, subject to APA policy and approval. Please note that remote work is restricted in certain states and territories. This internship is part-time and does not offer sponsorship.
