About the role#
K2 Space Corporation is seeking a Supply Chain Intern to support the production of high-power satellite platforms. You will work alongside supply chain and engineering teams to ensure hardware availability and project success. This is a 12-week, full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027.
What you'll do#
- Source hardware including connectors, harnesses, printed circuit boards, machined parts, and consumables.
- Negotiate costs and contracts with key suppliers.
- Monitor supplier quality and deliveries to support mission objectives.
- Facilitate communication between suppliers and internal teams regarding onboarding, evaluation, and project management.
- Manage Bills of Materials for various assemblies.
- Implement master planning schedules for high-volume production.
- Build internal analytics to track supply chain goals.
- Implement inventory kitting processes for external assembly work.
- Maintain minimum inventory levels and controls.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor or Master degree program in Supply Chain Management, Finance, Business Administration, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
- Ability to work on-site for a minimum of 12 weeks.
- Experience working in an integrated, collaborative team environment.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
- Proficiency using SQL.

- Compensation: $30 to $40 per hour, with potential for a housing and travel stipend.
