    About the role#

    This is a part-time student position based at John Deere in Dubuque, Iowa. You will work alongside full-time staff to support IT infrastructure, resolve technical issues, and contribute to team projects. This role requires a year-round commitment, working 10 to 20 hours per week during the academic year and 35 to 40 hours per week during the summer.

    What you'll do#

    • Monitor and manage IT infrastructure to ensure system performance and availability.
    • Analyze information to troubleshoot and resolve desktop and infrastructure problems.
    • Collaborate with product teams to implement process improvements and system changes.
    • Document changes and communicate effectively with business partners.
    • Participate in team projects across different IT departments.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment as a full-time student at a local college or university.
    • Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Management of Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
    • Graduation date of December 2027 or later.
    • Cumulative GPA of 2.8 or above.
    • Ability to work on-site in Dubuque, Iowa, year-round.
    • At least 18 years of age.
    • Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.
    • Foundational IT knowledge gained through professional or academic experience.
