About the role#
This is a full-time, remote position focused on supporting Mandarin-speaking students and their families. You will serve as a primary point of contact, building relationships and ensuring a positive academic experience. The role requires balancing student services, administrative tasks, and proactive problem-solving while working with academic, product, and sales teams.
What you'll do#
- Provide personalized support to Mandarin-speaking students and parents.
- Act as the main contact via WhatsApp, email, and Zoom.
- Manage administrative workflows, including withdrawals, subject changes, and re-enrolments.
- Lead onboarding processes and organize orientation sessions.
- Adapt support materials and processes to better serve Mandarin-speaking families.
- Maintain accurate records within administrative and educational systems.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve student challenges and improve support systems.
- Identify and implement ways to enhance the overall family experience.
What you'll need#
- Fluency in both Mandarin and English, written and spoken.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a genuine interest in supporting students.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a remote setting.
- High level of comfort with technology and new software systems.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to remain calm and resilient under pressure.
- Collaborative mindset and flexibility regarding changing priorities.
Location & details#
- This is a fully remote, full-time position.
- You must be available to work Tuesday through Saturday, from 1:00 PM to 10:00 PM China Standard Time.
- You will need to be available for one additional meeting per week outside of these hours to collaborate with the international team.
