About the role#
As an Accessory Sales Intern, you will gain exposure to the automotive industry by supporting initiatives focused on accessory sales and dealer profitability. You will contribute to research, analysis, and strategic projects that help the Accessories Sales team identify growth opportunities and support Toyota dealer partners. This internship is designed to provide hands-on experience and meaningful work that aligns with your academic studies.
What you'll do#
- Analyze dealer performance and accessory sales data to identify trends and growth opportunities.
- Conduct research on dealer best practices, automotive accessory trends, and competitor programs.
- Support initiatives related to how accessories are presented, promoted, and sold at dealerships.
- Partner with the Accessories Sales team on initiatives involving operations, marketing, and product development.
- Create reports, presentations, and tools to communicate business performance and actionable insights.
- Complete a summer project and present your findings and recommendations to the team.
What you'll need#
- Active enrollment in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program at an accredited college or university.
- Completion of at least one semester of coursework.
- Pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Economics, Data Science, Supply Chain Management, or Operations Management.
- Strong written and verbal communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and PowerPoint, is preferred.
- Experience with data visualization is preferred.
