About the role#
JLL is seeking a Summer Analyst for its Real Estate Investment Banking practice in New York City for Summer 2027. This 10-week internship offers exposure to the full lifecycle of investment banking transactions, including M&A, capital raising, and corporate advisory. You will work alongside professionals on the M&A and Corporate Advisory team, gaining hands-on experience in real estate and corporate finance.
What you'll do#
- Perform valuation analyses and financial modeling exercises.
- Assist deal teams in preparing memoranda, presentation materials, and marketing documents.
- Manage various aspects of day-to-day transaction execution.
- Review and analyze public company filings, legal documents, and research data.
- Interact with clients, investors, and internal JLL team members.
What you'll need#
- Current college or university junior graduating in Spring 2028.
- Minimum 3.5 GPA.
- Coursework in corporate finance, accounting, or real estate.
- Demonstrated interest in real estate, M&A, and global capital markets.
- Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Capability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Permanent US work authorization is required as this position does not provide visa sponsorship.
Location & details#
- Location: New York, NY (On-site).
- Program Dates: June 7, 2027, to August 13, 2027.
- Compensation: $20,000 to $25,000 per year.
