About the role#
This internship offers an opportunity to gain experience in the hotel real estate industry. You will work alongside analysts, transaction professionals, and other associates to support our team. This is a full-time, paid position based on-site in Tampa.
What you'll do#
- Assist with historical P&L reviews, STR analyses, and operating benchmarks.
- Prepare and write market research.
- Obtain and analyze market information and statistics.
- Research demographics and traffic counts.
- Assist in the due diligence process.
- Value listings and proposed listings in Excel.
- Review and summarize ground leases through lease abstracting.
- Assist in the design and preparation of teasers and books.
- Create charts and other graphic materials.
- Handle other duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Completion of at least 3 years of college.
- Majors in Real Estate, Business Administration, Finance, or Economics.
- Intermediate working knowledge of Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Strong analytical, writing, and communication skills.
- Ability to interact with internal and external clients professionally.
- Detail-oriented and self-motivated approach.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining a team player attitude.
- Familiarity with Adobe, InDesign, and Photoshop is a plus.
