About the role#
This summer internship with the JLL Capital Markets group offers insight into the commercial real estate industry. You will work alongside analysts to support investments and acquisitions. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Chicago.
What you'll do#
- Assist with market research by gathering and analyzing statistics, demographics, traffic counts, and other market information.
- Support the valuation of current and proposed listings using Argus and Excel.
- Prepare lease abstracts to summarize lease agreements.
- Assist with the due diligence process for transactions.
- Design marketing materials such as teasers and offering memorandums by creating charts and graphics.
- Gather data on rent rolls, demographics, and tenant profiles to support the team.
What you'll need#
- You are currently a college or university junior graduating in Summer 2028.
- You have permanent US work authorization.
- You are pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Economics, or Finance.
- You possess strong analytical, writing, and communication skills.
- You are detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work independently or within a team.
- You have intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Familiarity with Argus, PowerPoint, Adobe InDesign, and Photoshop is preferred.
