About the role#
The Work Study Student position offers part-time employment for currently enrolled university students. This role supports daily departmental operations while helping you build professional skills. You will balance your work tasks with your academic commitments, ensuring your school schedule remains the priority.
What you'll do#
- Handle day to day maintenance and general tasks for your assigned department.
- Manage clerical duties, including answering phones, filing, scheduling, and organizing.
- Provide front-line customer service to visitors and staff.
- Assist with light research and technology support.
- Perform other related tasks as needed by your department.
What you'll need#
- A High School Diploma or GED.
- Strong time management skills to balance work and study.
- Ability to communicate effectively with others.
- Commitment to maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.
- Physical ability to lift and carry 25 lbs.
