About the role#
The Pharmacy Intern at Jefferson Apothecary supports the medication distribution system while gaining technical and clinical experience. This role focuses on the procurement, storage, and dispensing of medications to prepare interns for a future career as a pharmacist.
What you'll do#
- Procure, store, and assist in the dispensing of medications and pharmaceutical supplies.
- Prepare parenteral products using aseptic technique.
- Ensure the provision of quality pharmacy services.
- Interact with co-workers, visitors, and other staff.
What you'll need#
- Current matriculation in an accredited college of pharmacy.
- Participation in a medication distribution system.
- Knowledge of pharmaceuticals.
- Previous experience is preferred but not required.
