About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship based in Piscataway Township, New Jersey. You will work on-site as part of the JD Logistics team to support warehouse operations and supply chain efficiency.
What you'll do#
- Analyze inbound, inventory, and outbound warehouse processes.
- Optimize warehouse layout, operation routes, and equipment configuration.
- Introduce automation tools to improve space and labor efficiency.
- Formulate inventory management strategies and monitor turnover and accuracy.
- Coordinate resource allocation and control operational costs.
- Manage daily work of warehouse teams and create training plans.
- Promote the implementation of standardized warehouse processes.
- Analyze operational data to develop and execute improvement plans.
- Interface with logistics and sales departments to coordinate supply chain resources.
- Build industry-specific warehouse solutions and track new technologies to improve warehouse intelligence.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or Business Administration.
- A collaborative mindset.
- Ability to work in a demanding environment.
