About the role#
JDI Finance is hiring a student for the Finance Shared Services team. This role is based in Saint John, New Brunswick, for the Winter 2027 term, running from January to April. You will work alongside experienced professionals on projects that provide business insights and support Finance operations.
What you'll do#
- Analyze and visualize data to support Finance operations.
- Gain hands-on experience using Power BI, Tableau, and Alteryx.
- Review financial and operational data to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Assist with process improvement initiatives to boost data quality and efficiency.
- Support the management and implementation of various Finance initiatives, including reporting and analytics enhancements.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a university program for Business, Commerce, Information Technology, Analytics, or a related field.
- Good academic standing.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Curiosity and a detail-oriented approach to your work.
- Demonstrated interest in a career in Finance, Analytics, or Business Intelligence.
- Experience with Power BI or other data visualization tools is an asset.
