About the role#
This Federal Work-Study position provides administrative support for the Human Resources office at Ivy Tech Community College. You will report to the Assistant Vice President of Human Resources and assist with various office initiatives, special projects, and daily operations. This is a paid, on-site role based in Indianapolis.
What you'll do#
- Support talent acquisition and recruitment efforts, including posting job openings and reviewing candidates.
- Help maintain and update personnel files.
- Review current office processes and procedures to suggest practical improvements.
- Assist the team with ongoing projects and administrative tasks.
- Ensure all work complies with FERPA and other regulatory standards.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a degree-seeking student at Ivy Tech Community College.
- A completed FAFSA on file demonstrating financial need.
- Maintenance of an aid-eligible Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) status.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- A commitment to fostering an inclusive environment for students and employees.
