About the role#
Ivy Tech Community College is looking for a student to join the creative services team at the Systems Office in Indianapolis. This internship focuses on marketing the college through various social media platforms. It is designed for students interested in careers related to communication and marketing.
What you'll do#
- Manage the college social media accounts and post content.
- Brainstorm new campaign ideas.
- Fulfill specific requests from both Systems and campus teams.
- Maintain detailed notes in the social media campaign calendar regarding what is deployed, when, and to which platform.
- Organize analytics into a format that is easy to read and decipher.
- Learn and apply the overall concept of Ivy Tech, including brand goals and the student experience.
What you'll need#
- Must be a degree-seeking student currently enrolled at Ivy Tech Community College.
- Must have a completed FAFSA on file demonstrating financial need.
- Maintain an aid-eligible Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) status.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to follow directions and work both independently and within a team.
- Preference is given to those familiar with Microsoft Office, Sprout Social, and Salesforce Social Studio.
- General knowledge of Adobe Suite, Web CMS, and project management is a plus.
