About the role#
Ivy Tech Community College is seeking a Digital Marketing Intern to support the creative services team at the Systems Office in Indianapolis. This role focuses on promoting the college message across various social platforms and is ideal for students pursuing careers in marketing, communications, journalism, graphic design, public health, English, or media studies.
What you'll do#
- Manage the college social media accounts and post content.
- Brainstorm new campaign ideas.
- Maintain a detailed social media campaign calendar, tracking deployment dates and platforms.
- Organize analytics into clear, readable formats for review.
- Fulfill one-off requests from both systems and campus teams.
- Develop a strong understanding of the Ivy Tech brand, student experience goals, and overall mission.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a degree-seeking student at Ivy Tech Community College.
- A completed FAFSA on file demonstrating financial need.
- Maintenance of an aid-eligible Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) status.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to follow directions and work effectively both independently and within a team.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to solve problems, prioritize tasks, and work under pressure on multiple projects.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Sprout Social, and Salesforce Social Studio is preferred.
- General knowledge of Adobe Suite, Web CMS, and project management tools is a plus.
