About the role#
ITT Aerospace Controls is looking for a Supply Chain Intern to join our team in Valencia, California. This role offers hands-on experience in supply chain operations within an aerospace manufacturing environment. You will receive mentorship to help you contribute to our supply chain organization while you build skills in market intelligence, data analytics, and supplier management.
What you'll do#
- Quote parts, contact suppliers, and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Track spend and usage, analyze trends, and propose improvements.
- Monitor and drive metrics to improve supplier performance.
- Identify value creation opportunities and evaluate industry trends.
- Conduct market assessments and competitor product reviews.
- Support the development of proprietary database tools.
- Assist the market intelligence team with special projects.
- Research and update supply chain databases to support quick responses to market and supply disruptions.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and create SOPs for data analytics and market intelligence activities.
- Complete ad hoc reports and projects that align with your skill set and development goals.
What you'll need#
- Junior or Senior currently enrolled at an accredited college pursuing a business-related degree (Supply Chain or Data Analytics majors preferred).
- Enrollment in a strategy or market research-oriented MBA program is a plus.
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to model and interpret large datasets.
- Strategic thinking and effective problem-solving abilities.
- Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to change.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization.

- Location: Valencia, California.
- Term: Summer 2027 (May to August).
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week.
- Compensation: Paid position ($28-$33 per hour).
