About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience in the aerospace industry. You will work alongside experienced engineers and industry experts to gain insight into product development, engineering processes, and problem-solving strategies. You will contribute to the innovation of fluid motion control and environmental control system solutions.
What you'll do#
- Conduct research, design, analysis, testing, and documentation for products.
- Work with materials and systems including composites, metals, elastomerics, electric heaters, acoustics, and aerodynamics.
- Apply your skills to real-world projects and technologies.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Mechanical Engineering or closely related degree program.
- Junior or Senior standing is preferred.
- Good academic standing.
- Proficiency in CAD design, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with SolidWorks, Catia v5/v6, MATLAB/Simulink, or FEA software such as ANSYS or NASTRAN.
- Background in design and testing.
- Specific experience in the aerospace industry is a plus.
- Must be a US Citizen or US permanent resident.

- Location: Valencia, California.
- Modality: On-site.
- Term: Summer 2027 (May to August).
- Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week for 12 weeks.
