About the role#
As a Supply Chain Analyst Intern, you will work with various teams across the extended supply chain at IPG. This role involves handling day-to-day tasks while contributing to long-term, cross-functional projects. You will support business objectives by driving process improvements and gaining exposure to demand planning, procurement, logistics, and e-fulfillment operations.
What you'll do#
- Participate in demand reviews and monitor forecast system alerts.
- Assist with reporting for S&OP and various cross-functional projects.
- Manage transfer order signals for intercompany goods movement.
- Perform root-cause analysis for on-time service and excess inventory.
- Improve warehouse mapping processes for customer-warehouse relationships.
- Support supplier meetings and develop tracking for supplier onboarding compliance.
- Map distribution channels, including raw materials and countries of origin.
- Support company transportation needs and drive cost analysis for new acquisition sites.
- Develop updated process documentation.
- Manage intercompany signals and provide logistics support for E-Fulfill peak seasons.
- Manage product transitions including demand forecasting and supply planning.
What you'll need#
- Active pursuit of a Bachelor Degree in Supply Chain, Computer Science, Business, Finance, or equivalent work experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and business analytics tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or R.
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong customer service attitude.
- Clear, articulate oral communication skills and the ability to listen and understand coworkers.
- Willingness to learn new skills and techniques.
