About the role#
We are looking for a student to join our tax team in Montreal for the Fall 2026 term. This role offers exposure to corporate, sales, customs, Canadian, American, and international tax matters. You will work in a diverse environment and gain hands-on experience by supporting our tax department on various projects.
What you'll do#
- Prepare Canadian and American tax returns.
- Reconcile tax accounts and prepare tax audit files.
- Research tax regulations to support team objectives.
- Conduct nexus analysis and manage registrations in various US states.
- Prepare transfer pricing documentation and validate customs entries.
- Participate in special projects, including acquisitions and company reorganizations.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a post-secondary program pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, CPA, MBA, or a related field.
- Bilingual proficiency in French and English.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software.
- High attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
