About the role#
We are seeking a motivated intern to join our Municipals team in New York. You will work alongside credit analysts to conduct fundamental credit research within the municipal bond market. This role provides exposure to the investment process and the opportunity to contribute to research projects that support investment decisions. You will gain experience in evaluating risk and opportunity while developing analytical skills to understand businesses, industries, and capital structures.
What you'll do#
- Support the team in conducting fundamental credit research.
- Build and maintain financial models and credit monitoring tools.
- Research potential investment opportunities and present findings to the team.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on assigned tasks and initiatives.
- Prepare presentations, summaries, and other materials for internal and external stakeholders.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program as a rising Junior, graduating by the summer of 2028.
- Minimum GPA of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale.
- Demonstrated interest in financial markets and investments.
- Familiarity with Excel and financial statement analysis.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a permanent basis.
- Preferred majors include Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or Business Administration.
