About the role#
Intuitive Machines is looking for an intern to join the team in Greenbelt, Maryland. This is a full-time, paid position with a rolling term. You will work on-site to support our engineering projects.
What you'll do#
- Create robot simulations for contact tasks using mathematical modeling.
- Design experiments and analyze data to improve or validate these simulations.
- Develop methods for quick-turn-around robot controller tuning.
What you'll need#
- You are currently a rising senior in a Bachelor’s degree program for Mechanical, Aerospace, Electrical, or Computer Engineering.
- You are a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident.
- You have experience with programming, specifically MATLAB, with Simulink or Simscape as a bonus.
- You have a background in experimental data collection and analysis.
- You have an understanding of robotics and kinematics.
- You can solve problems independently and communicate effectively in a team.
