About the role#
This is a Module Engineering internship for PhD or Master's students. You will work on-site in Hillsboro to support manufacturing engineering processes and factory operations. The role focuses on hands-on projects that contribute to business goals while you build your technical skills.
What you'll do#
- Design and optimize manufacturing engineering processes.
- Evaluate equipment performance and carry out corrective actions.
- Support process improvements to increase production efficiency.
- Work with engineering and operations teams to improve product quality.
- Apply your technical knowledge to solve problems through hands-on projects.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a PhD or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or Physics.
- Completed coursework in semiconductor processing or materials science.
- Previous research or internship experience in semiconductor processing.
- Familiarity with fabrication equipment like lithography, etching, deposition, and metrology.
- Proficiency in data analysis software such as MATLAB or JMP.
- Experience with programming languages like Python or C++.
- Ability to manage projects, meet deadlines, and use statistical analysis for experimental design.
