About the role#
As a Service Desk co-op, you will provide essential technical support and customer service at INPO. You will rotate through four distinct positions, including front desk coordination, hardware preparation for evaluators, and lab maintenance. This role operates on a rotation schedule where you work one semester and return to school the next for three total work semesters. You will be paired with a mentor and participate in team meetings to collaborate on support tasks.
What you'll do#
- Staff the front desk as the first point of contact for employees.
- Perform maintenance, configuration, and troubleshooting for desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
- Provide support for various software products.
- Prepare laptops for INPO evaluators before they head out on site visits.
- Manage hardware inventory and handle equipment issues throughout the building.
- Study for professional certifications, with exam fees covered by the company.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a degree in computer science or information technology.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
- Ability to pass a drug and alcohol test.
- Ability to obtain unescorted access status.
