About the role#
As a Software Engineering Intern, you will apply computer science and engineering principles to build software for our target applications. You will work within our engineering organization to develop and evaluate interfaces between hardware and software. This role covers the full software development life cycle, from initial requirements analysis to final testing.
What you'll do#
- Participate in the design, implementation, and integration of embedded software for tactical radio equipment.
- Create software test procedures, programs, and supporting documentation.
- Use modeling tools to establish operating data and evaluate experimental results.
- Take part in peer reviews to identify and fix software defects.
- Work with various programming languages and operating systems, including C++, C#, Java, and Linux, across different hardware platforms.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD program for Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- A solid understanding of computer science concepts and mathematical analysis principles.
- Experience or coursework in areas such as embedded systems, real-time controls, or software security is a plus.

- Location: Fort Wayne, Indiana.
- Schedule: This is a full-time, on-site, paid internship.
- Work schedule: The 9/80 schedule means you work 80 hours over 9 days, with every other Friday off.
