About the role#
Innovative Defense Technologies (IDT) is looking for a User Experience and Interface Design Intern to join the Integrated Mission Systems team. You will work on refining design specifications and improving design systems to support our product development.
What you'll do#
- Refine design specifications.
- Iterate on existing design systems.
- Create deliverables that explain product design use cases to team members and stakeholders.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an Industrial Design or Graphic Design program.
- Proficiency in design skills and Human Centered Design Thinking.
- A strong sense of curiosity, empathy, and creativity.
- Ability to obtain and maintain an active Secret U.S. Security Clearance.
Location & details#
- This is a paid, full-time internship.
- The role is based in Arlington, Virginia.
- The work modality is hybrid, requiring at least 2 to 3 days in the office each week.
