About the role#
The AI & Data Scientist Intern will help design, develop, and deploy scalable machine learning solutions to support digital transformation across the company. You will work with a team of data scientists, architects, and engineers on projects including crop science yields, factory optimization, and demand forecasting. This is a full-time, paid internship.
What you'll do#
- Build prototype solutions using agentic AI frameworks to automate decision making for business problems like order processing and financial reconciliation.
- Analyze requirements for machine learning projects and translate them into solutions for areas such as manufacturing and ingredient formulation.
- Review and advise on the use of AI and ML frameworks, tools, and platforms.
- Document and evolve best practices, standards, and processes for AI and ML development.
- Collaborate with data engineers, business analysts, and stakeholders to define objectives and communicate project insights.
What you'll need#
- Progression towards a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, AI, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of AI and ML concepts, including supervised and unsupervised learning, deep learning, and natural language processing.
- Hands-on experience building and deploying solutions using frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience working with large and complex datasets using SQL, NoSQL, or big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, or Hive.
