About the role#
IDS Engineering Group is offering a Summer 2027 internship for undergraduate or graduate students. This program provides hands-on experience in civil engineering, allowing interns to apply theoretical knowledge to practical projects while working alongside experienced professionals.
What you'll do#
- Support engineering teams by conducting research and analysis on ongoing projects.
- Assist in the preparation of design layouts and technical documentation.
- Participate in project meetings to contribute ideas and feedback.
- Gain exposure to various engineering software and tools.
- Collaborate with team members to solve engineering problems.
- Complete assigned tasks and seek feedback to support professional development.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil, Mechanical, Environmental, Biomedical, or Electrical Engineering.
- Strong academic performance with a foundational understanding of engineering principles.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work well in a team setting and adapt to new challenges.
- Familiarity with engineering software, such as AutoCAD or MATLAB, is a plus.
