About the role#
As a Quantum Data Analyst Intern, you will join the IBM Quantum Adoption Team. You will support our data and analytics mission by providing reporting and insights regarding our partners and community members. Your work helps the team make data-driven decisions about the adoption and impact of quantum hardware, software, and outreach initiatives.
What you'll do#
- Support end-to-end workstreams, including building new analytics resources.
- Perform advanced predictive data analysis.
- Interface with individuals at partner institutions and across internal teams like product, marketing, and business development.
- Communicate project findings and propose actionable next steps.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Master's or PhD program in data science, mathematics, computer science, statistics, or physics.
- Proficiency in Python and SQL, including experience with relational databases.
- Knowledge of machine learning algorithms such as linear regression, decision trees, random forests, gradient boosting, and neural networks.
- Familiarity with deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch.
- Experience building data visualization dashboards.
- Proficiency with version control platforms like Github.
- Ability to frame and solve complex problems independently.
- Strong project management and communication skills.
- Enthusiasm for quantum computing.
