About the role#
The Finance and Strategy Internship is a full-time, paid summer program designed to provide hands-on experience within the banking industry. You will work directly with teams to support financial and strategic functions that drive the organization's growth. The program includes a structured series of professional development sessions, interactions with senior leadership, and team-based projects focused on applying innovation to business problems.
What you'll do#
- Contribute to meaningful projects and initiatives across various finance and strategy functions.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and business performance analysis.
- Develop knowledge of treasury management, investor relations, accounting, tax, and corporate strategy.
- Focus on liquidity, funding, and capital management tasks.
- Support shareholder communications and financial messaging.
- Gain exposure to tax reporting, compliance, and internal controls.
- Evaluate growth opportunities, market trends, and strategic initiatives.
- Participate in community involvement and team-based activities.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate accredited university program, with at least one semester or quarter remaining after the summer program concludes.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Demonstrated teamwork and leadership through work experience or extracurricular activities.
- Sound judgment and the ability to apply logical or critical thought processes when developing solutions.
- A strong interest in pursuing a career in banking.
- Ability to maintain professional composure and a positive business presence.
- Coursework applicable to the area of business.
