About the role#
HungryPanda is looking for a Marketing Intern to join our team in Los Angeles. This role is focused on brand growth and user acquisition within the local Chinese community. You will work on-site, engaging directly with potential users and supporting our marketing team with various campaigns.
What you'll do#
- Plan and execute marketing campaigns to increase brand awareness.
- Conduct in-person promotional activities in high-traffic areas like university campuses and residential communities.
- Introduce our app and current promotions to potential users to drive acquisition.
- Build and maintain relationships with university clubs and student associations.
- Manage on-ground promoters and support WeChat community engagement.
- Collect and analyze campaign data to help improve future performance.
- Assist the marketing team with daily tasks and ad-hoc projects.
What you'll need#
- You are outgoing, proactive, and comfortable speaking with new people.
- Strong communication, execution, and teamwork skills are essential.
- You are creative and willing to experiment with new ideas.
- Familiarity with the US Chinese community and university networks is required.
- Experience with Xiaohongshu (RED) operations or poster design is a plus.
- You must have a valid driver license and a vehicle.
- You must be able to commit to at least three months.
- Applicants must have legal work authorization (OPT/CPT supported).
- Students pursuing degrees in Marketing, Business Administration, or Communications are encouraged to apply.
