About the role#
We are building our San Francisco marketing team to match the velocity of our global operations. As one of our first marketing hires in the city, you will work directly with the Head of Marketing. We hire interns who operate at the level of full-time staff. We believe the best marketers in the AI era function more like engineers than copywriters, and this role tests that theory. You will handle core marketing tasks while simultaneously building the AI tools required to automate and scale them.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate on social media, content, community, events, email, partnerships, and SEO.
- Create and edit content across social platforms and pitch creators.
- Engage with our community on platforms like Reddit.
- Attend and support events.
- Identify and fix problems proactively without waiting for instructions.
- Build AI tools to automate and scale marketing workflows.
- Experiment, iterate, and move quickly.
What you'll need#
- A track record of shipping projects, such as a Substack, YouTube channel, AI tool, Discord, or personal brand.
- A proactive mindset that does not wait for permission to build.
- A strong online presence with a pulse on breaking trends and the ability to write effective hooks.
- A high pace of work and a preference for building systems over manual execution.
- Strong taste and an obsessive interest in AI tooling.
- Experience using agentic AI as part of your daily routine.
- A background in Marketing, Communications, or Business Administration.
