About the role#
Emergent is building its San Francisco marketing team, and this role offers the opportunity to be one of the first marketing hires in the office. You will work directly with the Head of Marketing, operating within a global organization that prioritizes speed and engineering-style velocity. This position is for individuals who approach marketing with an engineering mindset, focusing on building systems and AI-driven tools to scale operations.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with the Head of Marketing across multiple channels including social, content, community, events, email, partnerships, and SEO.
- Manage event participation and community engagement efforts.
- Build and implement AI tools to optimize and automate marketing workflows.
- Identify marketing challenges proactively and develop independent solutions.
- Create engaging content and manage marketing projects from conception to execution.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or Communications.
- Demonstrated experience using AI tools in your daily workflow.
- Ability to write engaging content and a strong understanding of current social media trends.
- Proven track record of managing projects independently and shipping side projects or content.
- A proactive mindset with the ability to solve problems without needing direct assignment.
